Our Millwork Shop is led by a team of experienced craftsmen and its reputation for excellence allows this special division of Terlin to be used in numerous projects as an in-house offering. The Millwork Shop is truly a value-add to Terlin clients who have the ability to choose and customize any element of a project, knowing that the same quality and fine attention to detail will be carried out through each step of their special project, just as it would with any other Terlin Construction service offering.

Not having to coordinate with an outside company, and housing our own shop onsite also means that Project Managers can better control project scheduling and quality control, resulting in a better and more efficient experience.

A highlight for our Millwork team was working with St. John, Newfoundland’s high-end boutique hotel, the Luxus. This establishment had only 8 rooms and is known to serve the highest of posh clientele, so it was up the Terlin Millwork Division to provide top quality room and service cabinetry completed in luxurious finishes to exacting specifications.

The team worked closely with the architectural firm responsible for design, and developed shop drawings to meet the client’s needs and then produced, shipped and installed all products to the site. Terlin’s in-house install team took the trip to St. John’s for the full duration of the install and the end results were absolutely spectacular. When working out of province, and most especially on an island, the logistics of transport are critical. Terlin was able to navigate these challenges and ensure that products arrived at the site on time and in good condition. Terlin installers are able to adapt to any differences in site condition from plan and for this reason we use our own staff instead of contracting out installation locally.
